    Custom Profile Picture Issue


    So I was recently updating my avatar and I had to switch the gamer picture out and set it to the avatar to customize it. So I did my thing and I decided it was time to wrap up and switch back to my profile pic I had. I did so successfully and figured that
    was that. This morning I went to add a friend on xbox and found that my avatar was still equipped but my profile on xbox and xbox.com was the the custom picture I had before of a Porsche. So I thought I'd switch it again to see if I could get it to change
    on the iPhone app. And now its giving me the error message "Sorry because of your past behavior you are not allowed to change your custom gamer pic."

    I did nothing! lol

    Now I'm frustrated because I don't want to get banned from custom profile pics, especially since I go to extreme lengths to make sure they are thoroughly in line with the Custom profile pic standards.

    As some background information, the picture of the Porsche HAD a license plate on it with an Irish derogatory word on it but I
    photoshopped it out and made the license plate BLANK. I don't know what the xbox program thought was unacceptable behavior, unless following the rules were unacceptable. It just really hurts to now learn that everything I do right is wrong, and everything
    I do right is still right, but I get punished for it. Can anyone help!?

    Hi,

    If you have a Android device (iOS public build coming soon, TestFlight is not open to general public), you may install the Xbox (Beta) application from the Google Play store to have the ability to upload a custom image from your mobile device. Custom images
    is still in beta/testing stage and has not yet been released to any public builds yet.

    Custom profile picture

    It is an adult account. Reputation is completely fine too, so still not sure what's going on. Contacted support even more times and still nothing.

    Thank you for keeping us updated on the situation. Is the account that is trying to use a custom profile picture a child account or adult account? Be sure to let us know the results!

    This has been going on for about two weeks now. I attempted what you said. I contacted them through live chat and phone. Live chat went through with me on uploading photos from the Xbox, Phone, and PC apps. Still nothing has changed.

    The phone support told me that it could be an issue with being an Xbox Insider member. I posted on the subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/xboxinsiders/comments/9iwsf8/custom_gamerpic_verification_taking_forever/

    Xbox Insider: " this doesn't appear to be an Xbox Insider issue."

    So now I left with going back in circles to figure out what this problem is.

    Microsoft has temporarily disabled custom picture uploads for Xbox Live, including gamerpics and club images, to help it "streamline moderation"
    and support the community -- in other words, to help its staff keep up with a surge in demand from people staying at home.
