Custom Gamerpics Finally Arrive On Next Update!

There is a new update released at some point within the next few hours which includes custom gamerpics will be available to everyone.

You still need to be 18 years old or over I believe.

As for Avatars, Xbox 1 is too Windows 10, too boxy. Xbox 360's UI R.E.A.L.L.Y brings your avatar to life. In the Social tab, in parties, there's even dedicated games which involve our avatars on Xbox 360.

This is why I didn't side with Sony when choosing which console group I wanted to join in 2010. Xbox 360 has avatars. Xbox 360 is the ONLY 7th gen console that has party chat. Then Sony goes copies Microsoft's idea of Party Chat and incorporates it onto
PS4 cuz Sony got jealous at seeing too many YouTube videos showing off Xbox 360's UI . Xbox 360 has voice messaging and picture messaging, something which non of the competition consoles had. Some of my friends wouldn't mind having their facebook photos on
their Xbox picture profile.

As for "I don't know why I got banned!" threads, we have been swimming in them for the past 5 years. It's already as bad as it can get. People with no conscience, no common sense, probably bad parenting or the state the world is in right now. Most of the
Xbox rules are common sense. But hey! Maybe it will get more kids on here (kids aged 13 and up I think can participate on this site's forums), so it's not just like middle aged adults on here. In 2012, I met a lot of 9-16 year olds who wanted to be friends
with me on this site's Minecraft forum section. There use to be threads there, some of them were sticky and had several hundred replies to threads titled like 'looking for minecraft friends?'. But now I think it's just older people who are doing the same thing.
2 of my friends I met in TDU2 in I think 2011/2012 and by their gamertags I thought they were in a clan, they also live in the same country as me. But one day I saw them playing Minecraft. I said, you play Minecraft?? They said "no my grand daughter". And
I'm actually good friends with her. I didn't know that one of my friends was that old, but at the time I didn't really care how old you were when they went on my friends list (which in my privacy settings is only viewable by my friends). I think I'll keep
my gamerpic the same for now.

No offense smileskybird, but your avatar pic isn't really saying a lot about you - from where I'm sat it looks like some geeky kid with an homogenous background, not really rising above mediocrity because you've used a stock pose! It's not that hard to 'edit'
your photo... there's a range of colored backgrounds to choose from and you can cycle through animations for your avi, zoom in and out; reposition it. Why not get creative? It sure beats seeing a nondescript or corporate logo.

No offense Daft Badger, but your avatar pic isn't really saying a lot about you - from where I'm sat it looks like a generic expression ("pew"). Really? That's all you've got to say about the world? It's not that hard to 'edit' your photo... there's a range
of characteristic or iconic images in the library to choose from; even newbs have tried harder to represent themselves! Why not get creative? No need of negativity here.

 

I wish they would bring back the old 360 gamerpics. Also, I like my avatar. I like the Slim Jim T-shirt which is really rare.

 

What my pic says is that' the only thing I can find that I kind of like to use as a gamerpic.

How have I not been creative? How many people have you seen with the same gamerpic as mine?

The actual gamerpics selection on the xbox one is dire in my opinion,don't like any of them.

I hate avatars,i hate all the stupid poses etc. so taking a half decent pick of a avatar prop & using that is what I've done.

I don't want my gamerpic or avatar to say anything about me.Let's face it BluSwirl,your gamerpic is hardly original or creative is it?

It's not being negative,it's my opinion,never liked avatars since they were introduced.

Agree with brandiesel,bring back the xbox 360 gamerpics but just change the resolution so they look right on the xbox one.

Avatars haven't been relevant on XBOX in years. You haven't seen ONE single avatar reward on ONE Xbox One game. There's a reason for that. Erm... NO ONE CARES.

I actually liked avatars but when I'm able to make my own custom gamerpic it will be the final nail in the coffin for mine. It will literally have no use then. "So what" makes more sense then.

Sure it is! Where are your eyes brah, or have you not seen my *updated* gamerpic? I spent many, many minutes agonizing over new poses and/or readjusting the camera and lemme tell ya it's not that easy to get it JUST RIGHT. Perhaps the minuscule snapshot
that appears on these forum pages doesn't do mine justice? I dunno, but if there's one thing I LOVE about Xbox (and gaming in general) it's working that avi! ❤

 

Haven't seen one avatar reward BECUZ I HAVEN'T BEEN LOOKING! Who cares about dumb ornaments you can hang off your body when the true narcissist is too busy working a screenshot? Beauty is its own reward, which is why I'm hellbent on scrapping

I can see you avatar pic just fine,like I said,hardly original or creative or maybe my idea of creative is different from yours.

We get given avatar crap all the time in the ambassador program,don't think I've claimed any of mine.

You could of got a Ghost Recon outfit a couple of weeks ago as well.

What we actually need is being able to unlock gamerpics from games again but then again if custom gamerpics are coming that wouldn't really matter now.

If people like using an avatar as a gamerpic then good for them,personaly I am not a fan in case anyone hadn't noticed

 

I know this australian kid who changes his avatar and gamerpic every day. i defrended him cuz he swore at one of my bffs (whos a girl). That kid has been hitting on my bffs' friends most of them girls. that kid also has had numerous girlfriends from like
the US and UK (who probably end up dumping him).

 

With all due offense BluSwirl, your gamerpic and gamertag are not even creative themselves; so you're not in any entitlement to say other people's gamerpic are "not" creative.
