Custom GamerPic?

Hello everyone.

I'd like to make a suggestion, one that I'm pretty sure has been brought up in the past, but I am new to the forums so I am deciding to make it on my own behalf.

Why can't we have our own custom gamer pics? I know there are people who would use something inappropriate, but can't that be filtered?

It'd be cool to have one, to make your profile stand out

Given what people are capable of drawing or taking pictures of, I wouldn't expect Microsoft to ever offer people the ability to create their own gamerpics.

It harms microsofts business,how would they sell you gamerpics if you can make them yourself?

microsoft seem incapable of dealing with hackers and modders complaints now,add to that hundreds of thousands of gamerpic complaints,the system would collapse.

 

When people were given the freedom to post what they liked on the forums these boards were reguarly decorated with vaginas.

So no.

You don't get to have your own custom gamerpic because humanity is not mature enough to have it's own custom gamerpic.

Even though you may be smart enough and responsible enough to have your own custom gamerpic it's not enough to raise the morons to a higher level.

Unfortunately they have dragged you down.

That's wrong people payed almost 500 dollars for these consoles and you take away their freedom of what they can do because your to lazy to filter out innapropriate stuff so decent peope get punished really looosen up even sony is not that stiff with you
using your own gamer pics and their console is cheaper microsoft is going to end up loosing customers if they keep it up just my opinion people have rights i hope they stop that not be able to do group lawsuit stuff and take it away and yes i have an xbox
one and have had 2 360's still got one and windows phone and yes i like microsft products but i do feel they are going over board with peoples constitutional rights

 

Constitutional rights do not cover custom gamer pics. It costs a lot of time (which =$) to police all users. The enforcement team is probably already swamped with bs as it is, let alone adding this. I am fine with them keeping the cost to operate live lower
(and thus, not raising fees) over keeping the gamer pics non-customizable. Though I am all for having many more choices (including game screen grabs, game achievements, etc.).

 

I think having a gamer pic of your own face would be good. Doesn't seem it would be hard for software to recognize a face or not, but since we don't have that could we get gamer pics related to games?

I am not surprised considering that the majority of gamers are males with hormones raging at 1,000,000,000 miles per hour.
