Custom Gamerpic Approval

I submitted a custom gamerpic three days ago and it still hasn’t been approved, it’s the same picture I had for years with no issue. Will I get a notification if it wasn’t approved or is the approval process supposed to take this long?

I've had this happen before and what I did was use the phones app to resubmit another photo. It did work as sometimes it doesnt take. But I also use the web browser or usb drive from the xbox directly. Sometimes installing and uploading directly is another
way around the app.

this is the same issue as custom gamerpics, when isolation is over we can approve your gamerpic but until then you have to wait

If it is a custom gamerpic it has to be approved by the team in charge before it appears online. Keep in mind your gamerpic should not violate the rules of the services.

Its a temporary gamerpic. You have to wait 72 hours for the xbox team to approve or deny your custom image.

If you have successfully uploaded your new custom gamerpic, it would take a while to reflect online since they're going to review it first. You don't really get a notification if it's been approved or not. One thing for sure, if it’s not approved, the image will be reverted to the last gamerpic or avatar you were using.

My suggestion here is try a different gamerpic and wait until it's approved.
