Current Xbox one Issues and Recommendations

your tiles will load slow on the home screen if they are live tiles. The X1 needs to pull the information from the net... same with friends, messages, games, saves, and record that.. especially record that... if your internet is sloppy and slow, it will
take much longer to upload the recording clips to the cloud...

I still say it is a problem on his side. If it was a software issue, would all of us be experiencing these issues?

 

I've used "Energy Saver" since the 2nd or 3rd day of owning the X1; I have yet to have a problem with it yet. Using voice commands are fast and intuitive, and make the X1 easier to navigate than the 360. I don't doubt some of you are having problems, as
I was having some of the same problems the 3 days it was on "instant on".

It may be because I use energy saver, quit apps when I'm done, or the fact I generally don't use more than 3 apps during a session. Or maybe I'm just one of the lucky few with no issues?

@smileskybird, Windows 7 was definitively more responsive than Vista, and didn't think I would like a O.S. more than 7. After using Windows 10 for the last couple months, I can say M.S. has a winner with the upcoming release. Very smooth, start-up and shutdown
are much faster, and in general everything seems more responsive.

Lately I have noticed that when I turn on my controller after it's been off for the night and I leave the TV screen and go home, my home screen freeze and my controller wont do nothing. I let the controller sit turned on for about a minute and then all of
a sudden it will work and perfrom all actions I did while it was frozen...... ?? I have updated my controller, no hard reset but have shut the console off by accident.

 

Got my xbox one for Christmas. Set it all up and while I'm watching a show or movie on hulu plus both box and controller will shut off for now reason. Yes I've set the automatic shut off to 6 hours but this will happen randomly at any time. thirty minutes
into a show. Five minutes into a show. Two of my sons have xbox ones and I have asked them if they have this problem and said no. Please help, new to this. I'm thinking this should not be happening.

another issue when your playing a online game alot of times it won't allow me to switch to party chat but my friends are in party chat

 

9, is more likely down to the publishers servers than xbox

Someone has to ask but what internet service do you have? and what speeds are you getting from a speed test on a PC?

 

Exactly what I'm talking about, i didn't know i bought a Windows 98 computer.

 

1,2, and 3 can all be fixed by rebooting once in a while. Maybe once a month and you'll never have those issues

4 and 5, i have no clue. have you updated your controller?

6 this is a headset issue, some headsets need to be plugged into the controller before the controller is turned on

7 whats messy?

9 there is no cap, its limited by your intrnet

10 haven't had an issue personally

11 its technically always recording a clip?
