Discus and support Current Xbox live issues with redeeming codes(etc...) in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Today I was a little upset to find out that the code I purchased to extend my account wasn't being fully accepted(unable to access online content.)...     Current Xbox live issues with redeeming codes(etc...)


    Today I was a little upset to find out that the code I purchased to extend my account wasn't being fully accepted(unable to access online content.) Then to come on the Xbox live status page and see that Microsoft knew it was an issue and didn't mention
    to member that needed to extend soon that it was down irriates me further. I know it's a long list of memberships to locate but still, I would not have applied the code now if I knew it was down. Now I have an activated membership that I currently can't use.....thanks
    Microsoft.

    Are you having trouble using the Xbox One Online features?

    This is of course part of the launch growing process but it's being reported that Xbox One users are having issues with accessing multiplayer, redeeming their Xbox Live codes and using Squad Assualt in COD: Ghosts. It's official because Microsoft has put a message about the problem on the Xbox Live Status page. I doubt that the problem is going to last that long though, Microsoft will probably have it fixed in a few days.

    there currently is a known issue currently regarding purchasing content and redeeming codes.

    If you are experiencing issues with redeeming codes then it's best to wait until the current Service Alert has been resolved.

    Hi there,

    there currently is a known issue regarding Redeeming codes, so that might be the cause, but since your error message shows that you need to contact the Merchant, that is the first thing you should check.

    The Merchant/seller of the code needs to check if they actually did activate the code etc.

    Best thing is to try and redeem the code again after the issue has been resolved
