current profile not allowed?

i got a used xbox one. added my tag and profile from 360 account no problem. got a 3month gold which shows under subscriptions as active. when i try to play online, message says current profile not allowed. my subscription is live but im not, what have i
missed?

A gold subscription is required in order to use online multiplayer or online apps. You will need to purchase a gold subscription.

Hi Midnightrabbit4, the reason may be because you might be trying to use another account that you made, you have to set your Xbox to "My Home Xbox". If that is not the case you may be banned, I am not 100% sure. Or the last thing I could think of is that
your Xbox gold has expired. Hopefully this helped answer your question, thanks.

You are showing up as Gold here. Sometimes it takes a little while after purchasing the Gold for everything to sync up. You could try removing your profile from the console and then re-downloading it. That may help to speed things up. Let us know. Good

Next, make sure your new Gold Subscription is active.

If the previous suggestions fail, check your e-mail used for XBL to make sure you have not been blocked from playing games.

Well if you are referring to the account you are posting with you won't be able to since it's a silver account.

and you can tell by the color of your gt here. Gold = you get to play mp, ..... silver = you dont

I hear there is a free weekend coming up march 8 - 11 ................. whoops, you missed it.

If you have anyonme else in your house that plays check into the family pack, its a pretty good deal.
