Current profile not allowed to play Xbox?

I have a current xbox live subscription but when I go to play multiplayer on call of duty it says the the current profile is not allowed to play xbox live? Why is this happening and how do I fix it? Have tried deleting and readding profile already did
not work?

Just bought xbox live on my counsel and im getting the same error mesg? Other account on my xbox says the same thing and already have xbox love on that one. It says same error mesg on both accounts mines which i just bought and my husbands which he has had.
Someone help please I really want to play black ops 3 lol

When you get this error on a call of duty title it is usually tied to the subscription. Do you have an active Xbox Live subscription or did you recently renew your subscription?

It could be a wide variety of things from parental control, or an enforcement action on the account or Xbox.

Hey Drunken,

Commonly this error is associated with a Silver account trying to play an online multiplayer game, keep in mind that in order to play online multiplayer you will need to have an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription.

If the above is not the case can you let us know what you are trying to do when this error happens.

When you add Gold to your account on Xbox.com, there is a slight delay in the website and the console. My suggestion is to run a network connection test. I've read around often that this will push the Gold to your account on the console.
