Current account suspension

Hi, I have currently received an account suspension for a week and I'm unsure as to why this has taken place. I've been playing Xbox live for over 10 years and not once received a complaint or report filed against me. I'm very unsure as to why this unwarranted
suspension has been placed on my account and I would like to speak to someone who can help resolve this issue for me. I've been messaging with Microsoft support representatives for awhile tonight and they have instructed me to come here with hopes of fixing
this problem. My reference number is [Mod Removed]. Please let me know what I should do next.

ok so i can receive messages but cannot send them. Status is good with xboxlive. Suggestions????

Hello i checked and have no current communication suspensions!!

But i am abel to send messages via Xbox.com using my account,What does this mean????

Xbox Live Suspension

Sorry, but support gave you incorrect information. No one on the forums has information about suspensions/bans, we are just fellow gamers, not employees. The email address attached to his account should have received an email about his suspension. Investigations
do take time, so suspensions are not instant. The current suspension could be for the incident from a few months ago.

You've been given the wrong information.I also suspect they told you to post the reference number which you are not allowed to do on the forums.

The enforcement team do not use the forums.

An email would of been sent to the address linked to your account telling you why you were suspended or you can check on the enforcement site
https://enforcement.xbox.com/home where you can file for a case review if eligible.

Also it has been showing alot of people permanent suspension when in fact it is a shorter suspension. My account currently shows a permanent suspension but support told me it is a 1 week suspension.

You are responsible for your account at all times. There is an issue with the notification system for suspensions telling everyone they are permanently suspended, when it's actually a shorter suspension. You can try contacting support and they can tell you how long your suspension actually is, but they won't have any further information about the suspension. There's currently an issue with the enforcement site not showing current suspensions which means it's not possible to submit a case review at the moment.

basically what happens with a suspension is this

1. a report is made to our enforcement team.

2. it goes in line with all of the other reports that are made.

3. someone on the enforcement team will investigate it and if there was a violation of the TOU/COC then that is when the suspension is put onto the account.

this is why sometimes an account can be suspended on a day that you may not have even been playing online or chatting this is also why there are times that you may be on a suspension currently but if another report comes in and the enforcement team investigates
it you may get another suspension while you are on a current suspension.
