Currency incorrectly displayed - Correct Locale (Xbox360)

We have just obtained an Xbox 360 and from what I can tell, the settings are correct. The Language is the one we want and the Locale is correct (Russia). However, the currency is displayed in British Pounds. Is there a setting I am missing to change this?

Tenure is incorrectly displayed

I noticed around the 26th-28th of January that my tenure was incorrect. My original tenure is 3 years and it says that I have 1 year. I would very much like to have my tenure back to it's original state, I have my 4th year on Xbox coming up soon.

Tax and games on demand

When you select an item to purchase in the Xbox LIVE Marketplace after the update, the full price will be displayed in local currency. And yes, Games on Demand are available for purchase in this way right now!

The currency would be based on the country you chose when you created your account. You'll want to go to
Sign in to your Microsoft account to make sure your account information is correct. If it's not, you would need to migrate your account region to the correct one. Sign in to your Microsoft account

then don't buy your currency cards online but buy them in a local store. Then you're always sure it's for the correct region.

Mine wont let me, bit of a background, im a parent trying to sort my sons account...the region has never been changes (AFAIK) theres no way to check.....i keep getting told theres a problem changing the region, then in typical microsoft fashion i get a list
of what "could" stop it, but it wont tell me which one (and really how hard would it be)

If the accounts region has never been changed ( really, would it be that hard to let us know a decent account history....helps us decipher if we're getting our accounts hacked too) then why was it not given the region of the xbox that was used to create
it? just to point out the xbox has always been a uk one
