Cuphead press any button not working.

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to hopefully get Cuphead to work as intended. I can totally understand how excited one may be to pick up this great title. Uninstalling and reinstalling is a good start, but I suggest trying the steps
outlined in our
Game freezes or stops responding on a Windows 10 device as well.

Have you logged into the Xbox App and tested that you're able to successfully log in there? Depending on what version Windows you're on, it might be the Xbox Console Companion, but would still be able to check if you can sign in. In the app, there is a
Settings tab, and a Network page you can go and check the status of your connection to Xbox Live on your computer, providing information if there are any port issues or Teredo Tunneling issues.

Please let us know what errors it's showing or if it's showing that it's good, and we can provide the next best steps to troubleshooting this issue.

I am indeed PC-based, however I actually don’t own an Xbox... I’m signed into the Console Companion, my OS is up to date, and I have tried opening the game inside the CC app, but to no avail.

On startup, I reach the title screen and press a key, then the window appears for a moment and disappears. After this the window does not come back and pressing a key again does nothing.

I hope this info gets us closer to a solution; thanks again for your help!!

I must say, I thought that was a joke that you could play Cuphead in a Tesla lol. ^.^ I laughed pretty hard at that lol... xD
