Crysis/ Far Cry

Hi fellas !

I am new to this, so forgive me if am breaking any protocols. I have a (potentially) stupid question, so here goes -

Just finished far cry 4. had played all crysis games on pc before. Now am looking for games exactly like far cry (2 or 4/didn't like 3 that much) or crysis. I somehow loved the crysis series so much. Do not quite like the look of far cry primal and that
lack of ammunition is a strong put off ! to be even more precise, I am looking for games like far cry and crysis sans the alien aspect. I love to have the option to go stealth or bat *** crazy in your face mode as well.

could anyone of you guys suggest options to me??

PS - i almost forgot, is it weird that i did not like gears of war, so am not a fan of similar games !

Bought Far Cry and Crysis (the originals), so that was cool.

never played the crysis series or the far cry series

 

If you are still on the XBox 360 then you should definately check out "Deus Ex: Human Revolution: Director's Cut".

That will let you be stealthy or shooty.

Also "Far Cry Primal" does not suffer from a "lack of ammunition".

 

I love Far Cry and just got 4 and Primal look great just started it last night, but Dues ex is a top game really get into the story

unfortunately i dont have a 360, i used to game with pc a while back and now got a xbox1. Thats why missing crysis, would have even loved to replay crysis over and over again !

somehow I dont find farcry primal that inviting, i mean no guns and the primitive setting !

thank you for your suggestion, I would certainly look at deus, am sure it is available for xbox1 and not limited to 360. Hope I like it as much as you !

@DoubtfulTets Yeah right !!! i too loved farcry 4. Finished it really fast twice and now dont want to repeat again for quite a bit of time now. However how do you like primal?? i mean the primitive setting and the lack of guns and shooting, is it as appealing
as the other farcry games? is it as engaging?

i used to hate the bow and arrow in far cry 4 and never used them unless absolutely required, thats why have doubts regarding primal. Please do let me know how do you like it ! * i also saw a walk through on youtube and it wasnt appealing !

now will certainly check deus ex !!!

I have played far cry 3 maybe 5 or 6 times on my 360, but I just got the Xbox one and bought far cry 4 and Far cry Primal, not really played much as yet, but 4 looks amazing, and primal although differant I think looks great up to now, need to play more
before I can make a good judgement though.

I played Deus EX on the 360 and same again played it so many times, just never gets old for rme, and you can play in differant sytles guns blazing or stealth, which usally works better, I carnt wait for the new Deus Ex in August

 

Far Cry 2 was the best. You could make 9 maps and host them publicly on a dedicated server and options to vote the maps and 8vs8 and vehicles. Far Cry 3 it regressed with private server only and didn't have a playlist of 9 maps. If you wanted a different
map you had to create a new lobby and re-invite everyone since it was private only.

Also being private was a pain to populate the servers with friends. Had to always go in a public official server then back out then spam them random's and hope that some joined to see my maps. Also no vehicles in Far Cry 3 or animals for published maps
and 7vs7. Far Cry 4 was only 5vs5 and co-op map editor only. Ubisoft didn't listen to us map makers at all.

They seemed to be only in it for story mode and move onto the next game which was Primal. So all in all they're in it for the quick buck. They don't want a game with a map editor and addictiveness to carry on for years like Far Cry 2 with lots of replay
value. Also why does it seem newer Ubisoft games of this generation going less for player counts? Far Cry 2 on 360 was 8vs8. Far Cry 3 was 7vs7. Far Cry 4 for XBOX1 was 5vs5. They act like they got some wimpy servers or something. Heck Battlefields are
66 players. ARK is 70 players. Guess they want the counts smaller for like gamebattles or something. Still was lame they had no multiplayer map editor and only co op.
