Crossplay Xbox 1 ps4 not working

I have a ps4 and my brother has an xbox 1 we have been trying to play Minecraft together and his profaile wont show up in the join cross platform friends it just says “your friends are not playing mincraft right now” But when you type his name into the
find friends box he pops up and it says he’s online also when he sends play requests they don’t come though

I have been having a similar issue where me and my friend try to play on xbox and ps4 but it says unable to connect to world

Yes and i show up but if i send him a game request or if he sends me one it doesn’t cone though

note that once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation™ Network account, it cannot be unlinked without loss of access to entitlements and Minecoins on other platforms.
