    My question is simple. My friend has Minecraft on the PS4 and I am deciding whether I should purchase Minecraft for Windows 10. I already have the Java addition and am aware that I cannot play with him on that. Is it possible for me to play with him on
    the Minecraft for Windows 10 game or would I only be able to play with xbox players?

    Yes but Fortnite is at least crossplay across the board. Warzone is currently optional crossplay on PS4 and mandatory on Xbox One, not a good look.
