crossplay snowrunner

good to all, I have a problem to be able to play any game that has crossplay between pc and xbox, my friend is a console user, we have tried to connect to play snowrunner, and after several unsuccessful attempts we decided to switch to another game and try it, However, the same thing happened and it is as if my xbox app for pc does not recognize that I have an installed copy of the game, it asks me to install an "app" to play in multiplayer, when I ask it to show me the "app" send to the microsoft store and it suggests me to buy the game. Does anyone know what I can do so that the xbox app recognizes my games and be able to play with my friend?

As mentioned above, Snowrunner does not have Cross-Platform play between PC and Consoles so the only way currently is how you are doing it.

However, they Sabre Interactive are apparently working on it:

Well, Cross-platform play between PC and Console on Snowrunner is not currently possible...PC users have Crossplay between the various PC versions ie MS Store, Epic, Steam etc. Here's the Twitter announcement on it from 9th September:

What other games are you trying to play as a lot simply don't have cross-platform play?

These steps can help you, give it a try.

Check for updates on Windows Update, update everything including optional/additional updates.

1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app

2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app in the Windows menu, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset. Do this for the game too.

3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.

4. Open the Microsoft Store app, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner>downloads updates>get updates and update everything.

5. Restart your PC, log in to both apps and see if that solves the problem.

It seems that the game doesn't have cross-play between PC and consoles so far, that is, only with xCloud you can play with people on the console.

the one already for refunded. its a SNOWRUNNER year pass, if you dont play snowrunner basically year passes are content that release that year
