Crossplatform Gaming

Why hasn't more been done with this. im not talking about Xbox1 to the 360 but Xbox1 with PC and PS4. Games like ESO would really benefit from it. The upcoming 3rd person shooter mmo warhammer 40k "Eternal Crusade" may not come to consoles if they will
not allow a crossplatform server.

War Hawk didn't come to the consoles because they didn't support this feature.

Defiance would have had more populated servers if they had this.

Who doesn't want to play with their buddies who own other gaming platforms? We still have our exclusives to just play with the xbox community.

I know all of my gamer buddies support this idea what about my fellow xbox gamers on these forums?

Itll never be crossplatform. Ive seen gaming systems change from Atari, to Intellivision, to Kolecovision, to Nintendo, to Nintendo 64, to Sega, to Playstation, to Playstation II, to Xbox, to Playstation III, to Xbox 360, and maybe some I missed. I welcome
new technologies, especially in gaming.

While I can understand why Xbox doesn't do cross platform with Playstation. I don't understand why 'Games with Live' for Windows aren't cross platform. More should be, Even with the 360 they should be crossplatform.

One game that supports it or supported it was ShadowRun, if you've never heard of it, look it up a great game that was entirely underrated sadly. I still play so remember me and add me if you get it haha
