Cross saves between Xbox and PC with Gamepass Ultimate

Hello, newbie here, is the Xbox team working on making more of their game play anywhere certified? Because Hellblade isn't, and I would love to be able to play on my PC(where I mainly game) and jump to my phone through cloud gaming when I have the chance. I post this question because, since Hellblade is an Xbox Game Studios IP, it should be able to take full advantage of the entire ecosystem. Unless maybe, I don't know, there are other issues preventing that.

Does somebody have some info on this issue? Thank you in advance.

Hello R4Cypher, the best way to seber which games are being added to the Game Pass and also to play anywhere is through the Xbox News website, where all the official publications of the segments are made.

It's difficult to say: On the one hand, yes, Ninja Theory is an Xbox Game Studios developer so there's no reason why not. On the other hand, Hellblade's release pre-dated Xbox's purchase of NT and, as it was originally a PC and Playstation release (with Xbox release coming 8 months later), it may be there are issues surrounding that.

Then again, I am not sure anyone outside MS/Xbox knows the criteria for selecting games to be added to the Play Anywhere system

buy it on xbox and play on pc or an xbox console as it is a play anywhere title, cross save is available and no you don't need gamepass for cross save.
