    Cross saves between x cloud and game pass pc


    Hi guys,

    I have been playing yakuza 0 on xcloud while away from home put almost 40hrs in, once i returned home i downloaded it to pc through games and all progress is lost.

    Is there a way to enable cross saves or cloud saves?

    I was really enjoying the game and planning to play through them all, but would hate to have to start from scratch.

    Any help is greatly appreciated

    Update: I got in touch with xbox support and they said because it was two different versions of the game yakuza 0 and yakuza 0 for windows 10 that was the problem which i accepted as the case.

    Then i tried other games that dont have two seperate version I.E monster sanctuary and it does the same asking me to start over yet when i launch it from X cloud and not from the downloaded version on my pc my save data is there for me to continue.

    All my using the same app and same account, support told me as long as it was two different versions i should have access to my saves on my devices.

    This leads me to think its a bug, how do i go and report it or make them aware of the Problem?

    Once again any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated!

    Ya if the game on pc supports cross game saves if it does then upload to cloud saves then sign in o. The same account on the pc

    (Not one drive it has to support cross saves )

    Cloud saves are the only way

    Xbox Play Anywhere: Yes, saves sync between platforms on Xbox Play Anywhere games. So your progress on the console carry over to the PC and vice-versa.

    Cloud Enabled: It means that if you have a Game Pass Subscription, you can play the game on any platform by cloud gaming. The game is streamed through a Xbox Series console, so you would play the console version of the game. But only some games (usually Xbox Play Anywhere) saves will carry over from the Cloud gaming to the PC installed version. Most will only carry over to the console installed version.

    Xbox Cloud Saves: Saves will only carry over if the game is a Xbox Play Anywhere game or if the game supports cross save, but most games that are not Xbox Play Anywhere games do not support cross save between platforms.

    And the Xbox app will only list games that can be played on the PC. So your console games will not be shown there.

    The unfortunate part about playing Minecraft Dungeons on PC is that there are no cross-save, crossplay, or cloud saving. So if you play on PC 1, you'll have to make another character on PC 2. You cannot transfer your saves between platforms as well - such

    Well it is cross save compatible just not in the way you mentioned

    Play anywhere title only apply to Xbox platform not steam

    Also cross saves usually only apply to same platforms with the rare exceptiOns of certain titles

    Steam saves are steam saves and Xbox one's are encrypted

    However.achievements do carry over

    'Forza Horizon 5 will support cross-play and cross-save across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows 10 PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
    Steam will have support for cross-play, but cross-save with Xbox is not supported.
