Cross play not working

I have turned off both internet and my Xbox. I have uninstalled and reinstalled games. Yet still non of my games can play cross platform. Still have the setting “You can join cross-network play” set to allow. I can’t play Fortnite or any other games cross platform can anyone help me?

I got this sent did it and it didn’t work.

Kindly sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings and then “block” the settings that has an arrow in this screenshot then submit, lastly “allow” them again then submit. Perform a powercycle after making the changes.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

Hello Dezire, you've already changed your Xbox account privacy settings, if you haven't already, follow the procedures below.

Online Privacy and Security

Go to https://www.xbox.com

Then click on your account photo

Then click on the 3 points (...)

Select Xbox Settings, and then on the left side click Privacy and online security;

Next click: Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Security

Search You can join multiplayer games

Search You can play with people outside Xbox Live

Select ALLOW

I've tried Warzone 2.0, Fortnite, and Apex. But they all say something similar about my settings.

I tried restarting the Xbox and disconnecting it from the internet and connecting it back. I also tried using a different account but that didn't work either.

Please tell me, what game or games are you trying play with your PS4 friends?

Also, please tell me what else did you tried to fix this besides changing the privacy settings?

Im sorry for the inconvenience, you try four things, 1. Make sure you have a good WIFI connection. 2. Make sure everything is updated. 3. Completely restart both consoles. 4. Make sure you are not using the beta version of minecraft, both players have to
be running the newest stable version.
