Cross platform progression?

I have seen numerous upon numerous articles that have cited the game as being cross progression, meaning, you can start a world on one console and pick up that world from another console by simply signing into Xbox live. However, I’m not seeing my Xbox world showing up on my Nintendo switch. What am I doing incorrectly? I’m gonna be very upset if I just wasted $30

Your save file is separate from any external worlds you may have loaded. If these are ones you have simply downloaded, you will need to do so again. If you have purchased them from the Xbox store Nintendo may require you to buy them again

Hey there, unfortunately, you can't link progress across systems. The only thing you can do is cross platform play.

Unfortunately that game does not support cross-saves so your progress will be different for each platform.

In early 2022 cross-play will become available between Xbox and PlayStation consoles, and cross-progression will be available between all platforms.

To make use of these features, you will need to link the same Ubisoft account to the relevant platform accounts you want to play on.

From my understanding they already made a xbox app for windows. They have cross platform games on it. They need a more diverse selections of cross platform but its a work in progress. The Halo MCC was just made for PC so they may add it too.
