Cross platform gaming on same gamepass account?

Hi there !

I'm trying to figure out if I can do the following:

Play Forza horizon 5 on my Xbox X gamepass account and on my PC at the same time?

I'd like to play multiplayer with someone using the PC since it's a cross platform game .

The person on the PC does NOT have their own gamepass account but will be using mine.

Can we both start the games on respective devices, connect crossplay and play together?

Unfortunately, you cannot play the same Game Pass game on multiple devices simultaneously; it will not work.

it is cross play between bethesda launcher, windows gamepass and steam, no other platforms. so basically pc platforms only.

Could you perhaps give a little more detail, are you getting an error trying to download the game or is there no download button and only a purchase button? Are you using the Gamepass Beta app for PC or navigating the Microsoft Store?

Regarding the cross-platform it depends on the game not all games are cross-platform this choice is left to the game developers.

Link your account to xbox live from epic games website, so you can use same account for cross-platform gaming.

I think with the Gamepass coming to PC we are going to get cross-platform play with Xbox and PC.
