    Cross Platform games. Some work and some dont. Why is this?


    I play fortnite with no problems on my XBox one with my friends on various other platforms but when we try and play Minecraft I have problems seeing other friends or joining their worlds. I have multiplayer option enabled.

    Is it something I am doing wrong or is it a bug with XBox one?

    This is a developer issue. The only allow crossplay for xbox and windows pc.

    Cross-play tools are open to developer and each dev chooses if they wanna use it/invest on it, it would be great if we could all play together despite the platform we are on.

    Some games just dont support cross platform. Before buying a game make sure it is cross platform first.
