Cross Platform Games - Call of Duty Warzone. - PLEASE READ.

Dear Devs & Technical team at Xbox,

First of all Happy New Year and trust everyone is safe and well

Regarding Call Of Duty Warzone and Xbox Crossplay in general, specifically the option of enabling and disabling Crossplay.

The reason I am asking this is because it's possible to disable crossplay on PS4 (I have a PS4 as well) but not on Xbox. Also most of them on PS have crossplay turned off which puts Xbox players into Majority PC lobbies half the time and there is a cheater
in almost every game.

I have read a few forums where they say the game developer has the power to disable/force/enable crossplay that and that Microsoft is not responsible for enabling/disabling cross platform options for a specific game. There is an option to turn off crossplay
within Warzone, but Call of Duty won't allow us to look for matches until we turn it on! (It's forced on us unlike PlayStation players who can turn it off)

We can turn off cross platform in Xbox settings but it's a confusing task that not many users understand how to do it therefore the lobbies have very less players and you would almost never get a game because it has to meet the minimum requirement to start
a game.

If it was easy as switch on the Xbox dashboard more and more people would turn it off before starting the game because of how bad it is at the moment playing warzone.

Despite numerous efforts by the community addressing cheaters in call of duty warzone, the game publishers have literally done nothing to ensure fair play. If you don't believe this please look at the current videos posted by big time content creators on
Youtube, Reddit, Twitter asking them to address cheaters in their game. Some as early as 24hours ago. They are begging for an anti-cheat and Activision is not responding to anyone.

So if they don't listen to big time content creators who give their game so much publicity, you think our in game reporting has any value?

Where do we stand as your customers? Do we have any rights to report a game publisher who is exposing us to cheaters and not taking appropriate measures against them being verbally abusive as well? Why are we forced into this?

Does Xbox stand by it's community to ensure fair play? How does The Xbox team ensure that developers are taking the appropriate measures to ensure fair play? If so does Xbox follow updates on games and feedback from the Xbox community?

I get it if Xbox live was free then it's a different story. Speaking of free, you do not need PS Plus to play Call of Duty Warzone, yes it's free and guess what? they get the ability to turn off crossplay.

What am i missing here? Why is it that Xbox players are treated differently specially when we are paying for the service. We buy everything via the App store just as PlayStation players do.

Why are consumers on our platform at the mercy of the game developers like this? How can you allow this to go on specially when they have literally zero communication with their community via their community manager when it comes to addressing fair play.
I get it, it's call of duty... and it's a big deal and a long lasting franchise. The rules of fair play must extend to all platforms that the Xbox community is exposed to. You have to ensure some level of quality checks when it comes to fair play ensuring
game devs abide by specific rules of closed platforms gaming vs open platforms ensuring there is an industry grade anti cheat.

Every game has it, Apex Legends, Fortnite, Pubg... Call of Duty warzone does not have an industry grade anti cheat, it's in house player report player system which is not reliable at all.

We even have to hear Racial slurs from cheaters who call the entire lobby names at the end of the game and sadly the only way to report them is via Activision and it will be months till they get banned that's if they reported enough times.

So not only are they cheaters but really toxic too, cause they use free accounts on PC and know they won't suffer any consequences cause they stay anonymous and use hardware id spoofers and almost never get banned cause they have so many accounts. and create
new ones all the time.

Why does Playstation have that ability to turn off cross play but Xbox does not? Did Microsoft sign an agreement with Activision to permanently enable cross play for Warzone? Also does the team at Xbox investigate if the game has an Industry grade anti cheat
before signing on the application in their store?

I understand that Crossplay is the future but it's not there yet as windows can still run third party applications/cheats that can give you advantage. The Pluton security chip is not available on new gen processors yet, perhaps that will be future security
measure for cross platform security. Until then we need the option to turn crossplay off.

I know when i write this i am writing it on behalf of so many who play this game, it's unfair by the devs to not give us the ability to disable crossplay and force us to play with cheaters and toxic players on platform that literally has no anti-cheat. We
are no different from Playstation users and we should not be treated differently, we too have the right to enable and disable crossplay in a game.

Appreciate anyone's feedback on this, as i believe i am not the only one who is having issues with this. There are thousands if not millions (This game has surpassed 75 million players) with this exact same issue.

To anyone who is in charge of quality control, please escalate this to higher management. This has to be heard. We need some way to defend ourselves, option of turning off crossplay is one of them. When we have enough faith in the developers, we will turn
it back on. Don't allow them to force us into something that is not regulated my Microsoft.
