Cross platform game sharing Ark

So i am trying to use my PC with a secondary gamertag to host a dedicated server for Ark that i can play on under my main gamertag on my xbox. i was hoping to use gameshare between my xbox and PC for this but i can’t seem to get it to work. I sign into
the store on pc under second account gamertag, downloaded ARK, and then launch it, but it just auto signs me into my main gamertag even though im signed into the store where i launched it from my secondary gamertag. Im confused by this, hopefully someone
might be able to help?

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have issue with game sharing. Unfortunately, the home console does not work from console to PC. Your best option is to set

home console on the Xbox. Play there with the secondary or have it your private server. Then access Ark on your main profile on the PC.

Hello Vicodyn, i believe you can`t because Ark is no cross platform

"Ark is only cross-platform for iOS and Android players or Xbox and Windows PC. This means that in order to play Ark on the Xbox, Playstation, or Nintendo Switch, you need to buy it for that platform."

I believe that Ark Survival Evolved is not a cross platform game. I understand you and your friend are using Windows 10 but there is no cross play with Ark Survival Evolved between Xbox GamePass Beta and Steam.

I like sandbox games, so far Minecraft is cross platforms, but others like Ark and Conan would be sweet.

No it hasn't because I still can't play on my boyfriend server with him on my laptop when it states ark can Cross platform with PC computer, I have a PC laptop, a gaming laptop
