Cross platform compatibility is ruining so many games.

I have had an Xbox live account for over a decade. I'm leaving because I see no reason to play on a console where A) they allow hackers (thanks to the launch of cross platform compatibility and lack of any real admin control). B) You pay for this overpriced
& unreliable "service".

Try playing any backwards compatible CoD and you will see endless modded lobbies which make the games worthless. The best part is they are on an old console that has zero support.

Yes, PC games are also prone to hacking. However, how is it that blizzard is able to control their games even ones like diablo 3 without any monthly fee? Time to trade this trash in.

Generally games don't work cross platform unless they're playing a backwards compatible game - Xbox One Backward Compatibility

Sorry to hear you're upset. The PET (Policy Enforcement Team) are doing what they can to curb cheating in games but are limited only to reports and what they see. As for games like CoD, Activision is aware of the cheats but are not prone to doing anything
about it.

There is no way to do so. As stated, platforms are not cross compatible. Steam is a platform, the Windows Store is a platform, Xbox is a platform, Switch is a platform, none of them cross save except in very rare cases

Hello. 360's backward compatible games, many allow cross-playing with xbox one., but some features like the live party are not enabled across platforms

Only select games are cross platform compatible with Ps4.

If the game you're playing is cross platform then try going into the settings, you might find that there will be an "enable cross play" option and select that!

If you're playing a backwards compatible game on the One, you can play with members on the 360. That feature has been available since backwards compatibility became available. As far as cross platform in other games, it would be possible. You can play cross
platform in World of Tanks. So it's really more up to the publishers too.
