Cross Console Multiplayer Game play !!! Update please.

I'm sure that i'm not the only one that would like to see cross console multiplayer. For Example: My husband and I have both an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One we not only bought a physical copy of GTA5 for the Xbox 360 but after we got our Xbox One we bought a
Digital copy of the game. we have always wanted to play GTA5 together kinda like a modern day digital Bonnie and Clyde. Sense we have bought the game for both systems and you are already doing a update for for backwards compatibility why not add in cross console
compatible multiplayer furthering Microsoft and Xbox in the console race. Setting a stepping stone that other Gaming companies will fallow in the future

Each game will have its own multiplayer. You can either play them individually or play them in a massive cross game playlist.

Cross-platform multiplayer gaming is a feature of Forza Horizon 3. To take advantage of this, kindly verify that you have the following requirements:

• The Xbox One profile should have Xbox Live Gold.
• You've installed the latest updates for Windows 10.
• You've installed the latest updates for Xbox One.
• Both devices are online and connected to Xbox Live.

Also, please make sure you're not using the same profile on Xbox One and Windows 10.

If you have these requirements, you can now play with your friend online. Launch the game and send him an invite to play with you.

Even though you can play Xbox 360 games on Xbox One this is and always be a no go. You can play a 360 game on Xbox one provided it is compatible with someone on 360 but you have never been able to play a Xbox One version of a game with someone who is playing
a 360 version of the same game.

 

My son was playing A World of Keflings online with a friend who was using a 360 and my son was on Xbox One

 

Happy Wars is cross plat too.

 

@ Boozy,Keflings is a 360 game so if you are playing a 360 game on the xbox one you can play against/with someone playing the same game on the 360.

Op wanted to play the xbox one version of GTA with someone playing the 360 version which can't be done.

Think the only 2 games you can do this with is Happy wars & World of Tanks.
