    Crippling down time needs compensation


    It's been a good 10 days of xbl features being down most of which have been crippling for online game play. This new one you cannot even play any games unless single player offline mode. There should be some sort of compensation for the inconvenience use
    as customers are experiencing. How about adding days to all xbl gold accounts? As we weren't able to use that which we have paid for.

    Need help connecting to EA Servers

    The EA servers are currently down. EA has very fragile servers it seems. Happens far too often with them. More than likely no compensation will be given as the last time they were down it lasted 5 days with no compensation.

    Ok, they should refund you about 16 pence per day as that is what live nearly cost at monthly retail price, unless you got it cheap for the year then it will be less

    Service has been intermittent but other than for a few hours of social issues, no part of Xbox Live has been down for 10 days. The Terms of Use say there will be no compensation for network issues with Live. I haven't spent more than $30 US for a year of
    Live in the last 3 years. There are deals out there every day.

    From the TOU:

    6. Service Availability.

    a. The Services, Third-Party Apps and Services, or material or products offered through the Services may be unavailable from time to time, may be offered for a limited time, or may vary depending on your region or device. If you change the location associated
    with your Microsoft account, you may need to re-acquire the material or applications that were available to you and paid for in your previous region.

    b. We strive to keep the Services up and running; however, all online services suffer occasional disruptions and outages, and Microsoft is not liable for any disruption or loss you may suffer as a result. In the event of an outage, you may not be able to
    retrieve Your Content or Data that you’ve stored. We recommend that you regularly backup Your Content that you store on the Services or store using Third-Party Apps and Services.

    I agree there needs to be some sort of compensation. It's been a headache the last 2 weeks on live. From constant party disconnects and lag to now can't even sign on.

    I agree.. the problems i would expect from time to time. but with how this has been going on... Microsoft has dropped the ball

    Refund my Xbox Live Gold Membership till you can sort this crap out. I always buy 1 Year Membership so where's my refund. Otherwise going to Playstation 4 were even the Home Page is smoother than the Xbox.

    They don't owe you guys anything. Go read the Terms of Use you agreed to when you joined.

    If you close your account they will refund a pro-rated amount based on how much Gold time you have left, but that is all.

  14. Their service agreement is BS to say the least. Our agreement between them is for services provided but of last night (12+hrs now) I have not received this service plus some. Does microsoft look at its customers and see "Stupid" write on all their forheads?
    I must be thick for putting up with such BS for 10+ yrs now and forking out thousands over the past decade for defected hardware and agreeing to services which they obviously cannot provide. Getting a little something back in return for such a prolonged outage,
    like an actual good "games for gold".

    Part of that agreement also says that the service may go down & that you are not entitled to any compensation if it does.

    There's been plenty of good games with gold so not sure what you are on about there.
