Credits on Halo: Reach for xb1

I'm having a problem with the credit/experience system while playing Reach on my XB1. You have to be online to install the game and that seems to be telling the game that I am an online player and now I can only get the 50 credits per story mission when
playing offline. Does anyone know how to get around this?

So far I have tried:

Installing the game when not connected to the internet, can't be done.

Playing while disconnected, still get the reduced credit reward

Happens when playing with Gold or Silver account.

To clarify, does it show as you as signed into Xbox Live on the Xbox 360 side of things? If you're having trouble with that, can you please try re-downloading your profile by pulling up the Xbox 360 guide with

these steps. Once you have the guide open try downloading your profile again to see if that helps.

I didn't state this but I am having the problem because I have absolutely no desire to play online but it doesn't look like I can escape being marked as an online player. All I want is to play offline. Would this still work?

 

You need way point for the multilayer aspect

 

I'm not sure how you can download it

Basically you need to sign into halowaypoint website and register your gamertag with your way point account

Way point is independent of xbox fyi

Make sure the info matches or you will have issues

 

Way point is how halo portal keeps track of your matches and credits

Also where you deal with enforcement and matchmaking issues

 

Ok. I'm getting kinda confused here. I have to be connected to Live to download the game but whether I download it with a Silver or Gold account I still only get the 50 credits per offline story mission. It looks like I'm being marked as an online player
just because I was online to download it. What does waypoint have to do with any of this?

 

You only get certain amount of credits for off line missions and completing certain tasks

You only get more when you play with others during matchmaking or firefight

 

Way point is how you track what you got so far and what you still need to do per mission

It shows your stats and achievements

Even ummm I forget the rank anyways how many stuff you get toward recon armor etc

 

If you wantorre credits you must play online

 

Even in coop

One of the things use less ammo.and do headshots

 

You get more credits for achievements and to get more you have better luck doing it in a group

As it's group achievements

 

I know that but I used to play on the 360, offline only, and I got a few thousand credits per story mission (depending upon difficulty and skulls) and the reward reduction didn't happen until after online play. I haven't played online but I'm getting the
reduced reward. Is that a permanent update now or what?

Anyway only getting 50 credits per mission and I'll have to spend years just to get to Sergeant rank. Online play holds no appeal to me, so should I assume I'm being the middle finger then?
