Credits for new console purchase

Hi

I recently preordered and purchased a new Xbox One S console from the MS Store (1tb green Battlefield 1 edition). Should I have received points on this purchase as I don't appear to have received any?

Signing new console for BETA program

Well, my son apparently signed our console up for the BETA program, for the Microsoft Points to Local Currency program. I just bought a new console, and redeemed a code for Microsoft points on my new console. I found that my new console shows a zero balance
for Microsoft points, but my account as a $50.00 local currency credit. All purchases on the old console are done under the BETA program for local currency, but my new console is still using Points. So I can't purchase or download any content since my new
console hasn't been signed up for BETA.

 

There are no offers to receive credits for preordering consoles.

 

Thanks, thought I'd read somewhere that purchases from the store receive points but I must be wrong

We have received word from our promotions team that all console purchases are eligible for the Credits. It is only the expedited shipping which will not work on the pre-order bundles. Apologies for the confusion. You should expect to receive Credits for
your console 15 business days after it has been shipped. If they do not appear, let us know with a new post and we will investigate!
