Thought I should try to solve the problem through the Microsoft chat service again.

Instead of "have you tried switching it off and on again" the advice is now: "For this one I strongly suggest that you contact Microsoft support directly"

and no you will face the same billing issue thats a bank issue not a MS issue

creditcards cannot be billed internationally for long periods

Prepaid creditcards must have a billing address which matches the regiom of an account

That billing address must because entered into xbox live for its to be used If there isnt no billing address the creditcard cannot be validated

your paypal along with your creditcard billing address must match the region of your xbox account



international creditcards wont work unless the correct regional billing address matches

basically you cannot use a russian creditcard with a us paypal account and expect a US account

this is why you dont use international creditcards
