Credit for Project Spark Closing Down

Hello, to whom it may concern.

My name is Jason. On last Friday (8/12/16), I received a message from Xbox Live stating that since Project Spark was shutting down, $20 would be deposited into my account.

I contacted Xbox support on Saturday (8/13/16) to make sure if the message was a mistake or not. I was told by the representative that it was in fact real, and that I was eligible due to purchasing Project Spark on disc and redeeming
the code and playing the game after 10/5/15. For some reason though, I was not given any code along with my message to receive the $20 credit and even the representative was confused about it.

I told the representative that I would wait a few days before posting here to see if it'll get fixed. Today is now 8/15/16, still no update. I just wanted to know if I can get some help to settle this.

Project Spark $20 has not been deposited into my account yet

I received a message from Xbox Live saying that Project Spark was closing down and that $20 was added to my account. I have not received anything yet, I have contacted support on this matter and was directed to post here.

The credits would have automatically been added to your account, not sent as a code. You can check for the credit at
Sign in to your Microsoft account

 

Oh. It's usually sent by code so that's why I assumed. I still haven't received any credit onto my account though.

I also checked the commerce website and didn't see anything on it.

 

May I please get some proper assistance with this?

I know you looked already but could you please check your Commerce account for an Xbox Live Rewards Deposit from the week of June 6, 2016? As per the

Project Spark Sunset announcement, your credit will appear in your account within 30 to 60 days of the game closing on May 13, 2016. Additionally, the credit you receive will be in the currency matching your Microsoft account.

I just checked the specific date, and I did in fact receive an Xbox Love Rewards Deposit of $20 on June 6, 2016. If that is from Project Spark closing down, why am I just now getting the message a whole two months late?
