Credit for items just gone on sale?

4 days ago i bought myself skyrim special edition from the store. today i

noticed it had been reduced $17 as part of a winter sale or something

would be my guess. being in Australia i didnt know the winter sales were

so close (as its summer) i also got vault tech and contraptions DLC for

fallout 4 which have also been reduced counting up to over $20 wasted.

if i had known the sales were coming i would have most definetly wasted

and i would have ended up purchasing far more than i could have such as

the season pass and 2 copies of subnautica for me and my Mate for

Christmas if i had of known i take it there is no way to somehow get

credited for the loss seen as it was so close? id really like to be able to get subnautica to play along side him.

Missing redeemable?

The past few months, the option to redeem points for xbox credit has been slowly reduced. From 5, 10, 25, and 50, to recently just 5. Now today, i dont see the option at all. Its just gone.

Am i looking in the wrong place? Can microsoft store credit be used on an xbox to purchase digital goods? Is the single best thing about xbox rewards just now gone?

You would need to try contacting support to see if there is anything they can do, but generally there is no way to get a credit for the difference. majornelson.com is a good place to follow sales. Contact Us | Xbox Support

 

I contacted Microsoft support and sadly they were unable to refund me the difference as i expected and there was no hard feelings as i understand the reason so. my simple advice to anyone who see's this is to simply wait until the sale comes around unless
you really truly cannot wait. Also please be kind and respectful to any support staff you speak to as they are only there to help you. lesson learned.

for 50% off at $5.00= over $45.00 no tax price . This, if you are correct they won't give you either the less then 30 day price you paid from the same xbox live game store to lease the game & the 2 addons that you see basically has is priced at within a couple
dollars ,but now the entire 3 expansion addons and 10 other big car addons are all packaged at a price within a dollar to $3 difference but they threw every major addon vip car pass . I'm saying the whole kitchen sink is included like 15 big addons from
a basic first party developer that is has the highest rated racing game & is a system seller. I saw this and Ive previously noticed they just rotate games from cheap great discount then back to full price even if the game is known to be below average.They
might not be having such drastic price changes with the large amount of top addons in a period that are regularly less than 30 days. It might not be a regular occurance to have 3 different price changes in less then a 30 day period at the regular xbox live
game store for deals for just having a gold membership or the other plain sale price but can be discounted at 50% once every 2 to or 3 months . Then every 3 months a huge deal like this one will pop up. Usually not the quality of Forza 3 but a lesser selling
game will be loaded with all content but won't have people probably not very happy with what they just paid & received for their total cost. One last time for emphasis on the disparity in content of 3 different prices in less then 30 days. had a 50% sale
on all addons the game might have been 50% off to but then went back 59.99 for a 2 weeks then boom the I happened to see tonight the biggest amount of content including the game for almost = to my minor amount of content & I would had a stroke if I had purchased
a lease of only the game at full price. There are people if they knew what is less money today for all addons plus game then what they were given for $13.00 more ..wow thats harsh too harsh in my opinion. 3price changes in less then 30 days I'm still under
the 30 day biggest content amount given at the price of such a highly rated & the amount of copies sold that is a major IP. I will say again if what you had written about skyrim is the same for the huge content disparity for the other 2 prices in less then
30 days ....It is the wrong choice to make if sincerity from P. Spencer was to be believed by the loyal customer that he wants Xbox to be known as.Made up of people who enjoy videogaming & the multiplayer competitiveness that is fun for myself . Im an ex athelete
that this can be why I enjoyed sports for the friendship & competition that should be an enjoyable activity. They're video games & I can't believe the anger & hate this will cause the younger generations to say things that can ruin what another kid loved to
do in his spare time that brought happiness to what might of been his only secure & time to forget how bad and hard to live with an abusive parent. I would be rather suprised that Ishould be relieved to get a minor discount compared to the people who for
almost 2 weeks paid $59.99 for only the game . I would say if that is the way they treat there best customers . The've really have changed from their first console. I've had to keep my xbox one even after getting the xbox one x in late Nov. because of lack
of helpful customer support & lack in the first month of release of a step by step instruction on the do's & don'ts whenstarting the tranfer of digital games from Xone to Xbox X . I have 3/4 of my games suck on the xbox one & maybe 5 on the XBoxX. I had any
idea to mess with the my home console as I live by myself . So how it managed to be changed 5 times is just insane . So it was unable to be changed to the home console. & my email that was used for the entire xbox one 2 yrs without issue cant be located according
to customer support .Since then I couldn't sa what my Microsoft email was customer support would hang up . or we cant help you then. 9 hrs on phone nothing . I asked for it to be sent to tech level where they can look at my account in depth. Nope level one
refused to send it up the chain. So just as a fyi Ive been rdy to end my relationship that began with me waiting six hrs for the original xbox to go on sail . Even was inline earlier for the 360. this one the price was a mistake & wasnt going to pay for a
kinect. Waited till summer of 15 then the x in Nov wth new big 4k hdr tv & paid the 499. I never have received the proper help to enjoy the X with The other large amount spent to maximize the X's power & potential. So after seeing the huge amount of difference
of 3 weeks of more of my money being put into the X . I was in disbelief . Especially after reading you reply & Microsofts stance on difference of the totality of what money is valued at changes too much in less then a 30 day period . I hope I didnt catch
some detail that would make his price concern different from a Massively amount of content per $, Compared to what had been a entire different level compared to the prior content cost per $. I will find out 4 sure tomorrow.
