Credit Card usage.

Hi, I am changing my X Box One location to North America and I want to buy DLC from the etore there. However, I only have a Singapore credit card. So I was wondering if I must get a North America credit card before I can purchase DLC or I can stick with
my Singapore Credit Card?

I don't like using credit cards online either. I'm a bit paranoid in regards to credit card usage at online shops.

Amazon is neat because it has gift cards which you can find in most retail stores. I use those (in conjunction with Bing rewards points) for my purchases from amazon.

say i dont think it will limit a credit card usage. Long as the company gets money, you should get whats being asked for.

Hello Gumbotron,

There has been a service alert today for purchase and content usage. It is now over. Also depends how you are trying to purchase these items. Are you using currency or a credit/debit card? If using currency you wont be able to online only on a 360. If using
a credit/debit card try updating
billing info and see if you can after that.

I don't know if you have already resolved this issue but I'm gonna give you my best answer I have,

The problem is that either you have insufficient funds in your credit card, or your bank or Microsoft has declined .
The purchase due to suspicious usage in the past .

Solutions

You can try re-downloading your profile onto your Xbox .
Or, You can try using a different credit card.
