Credit card not an option when my kid wants to buy something

We recommend going and checking privacy settings. Make sure that something wasn't changed. If you haven't had a passkey set up it is possible someone changed the privacy settings. Also, watch how they purchase an item, if they are hitting change then selecting
use a code this will prompt you to purchase currency instead of using the card.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. Is the payment instrument still on the account? If it has been removed then you would not get option to use the card. You can log on to
account website and check payment options. If it has been removed, you can add the card back on the account.

I understand your frustration regarding this issue. However, i personally think its a good way of keeping control over your children's spending. I've seen a few posts when the child has racked up a large amount of money on the parents bank account.

Thanks ive had a look and this might be a workaround although it is not how i had it set up before. This looks like it is not a parental control but just an extra step for an account, i will try it anyway.

The control os still there if you read my post, the problem is that the control osnt being used as it was in the past, the system is defaulting to add money instead of ising the credit card on the account.
