    So theres an awsome deal on 360 games BUT I CANT BUY ANY WITHOUT A CREDIT CARD!?! I DONT NEED 1 TO BUY XB1 GAMES JUST THE MAGICAL 360 STORE MUST USE CREDIT CARDS SO WHY GIVE THE OPTION OF $ ON MY ACCOUNT IF I CANT SPEND IT ON WHAT I WANT!? ive complained
    about this for the LAST TIME! Mabey a news post will get a response. This is a BLATANT ATEMPT TO FORCE CONSUMERS TO GIVE YOU CREDIT CARD INFO & for what? 360 games?! MICRO$OFT SHOULD BE ASHAMED!

    Problems Buying Online

    I used to get an error code when I wished to buy but then I found out that it was because of some issue with my credit card. I contacted my credit card company and they did an online verification and then I was able to make my purchase.

    Trying to buy a game.

    I managed to get it to work by creating a paypal account with my credit card and using that instead of my credit card alone...

    perhaps its an issue with the transaction processing for Credit cards, as the processing for paypal works fine.

    To buy Xbox 360 games you must use a Xbox 360 console to use currency or a creditcard PayPal or a bankcard for any other service including Xbox kne

    It's always been this way since backwards compatibility started.

    No ones being forced to do anything,it's entirely up to you whether you want to add a credit/debit card or paypal account to your xbox live account.

    It's Microsofts service so if this how they want it then it's up to them.

    It's perfectly safe to link a card to your account,had mine linked for 14 years without an issue.

    If you want to use the money in your Microsoft account then you will need to buy the games directly from a xbox 360 console.

    I am sorry but I disagree in 1 Point with the prior statements. If you offer backwards compatibility and you offer to purchase credits, then you should be able purchase the games without having to use a credit card. Imagine you'll get a gift
    card from a store and you go in to buy something and you still would have to give your credit card even though you have enough value on your gift card, people would go mad. Even though it is legit what MS is doing, it is not customer friendly!!! Please get
    it fixed, PLEASE.

    In xbox 360 doesnt ask for credit card, but in xbox one or in the website you will need a credit card to buy any xbox 360 game, even the ones in GWG.

    Unless you are buying it directly on a 360 console then you can't use account credit to buy backwards compatible games.

    You need to use a credit/debit card or paypal to buy 360 games via an xbox one or here on xbox .com.

    For a refund you would need to go to the store where you bought the gift cards but if you have already redeemed them you wont be able to get a refund.
