Credit card information disappeared

When I went to download something, I was told my information couldn't be retrieved. I then had to re-input my card information. Was this due to the privacy issue over the weekend?

Please don't post your personal information on a public forum.

If the purchase went through, then there wouldn't be any issues. The information you put on Live is for verification purposes for Microsoft. It won't have any affect on the card itself.

Credit Card Information

If your account is gold you can't remove it until your gold runs out. You can however contact support and have them turn off auto renewal. Once your gold runs out you can call them again to have the credit card removed.

You can double check your info at commerce.microsoft.com. If there is an issue with your billing account you will need to contact phone support for more assistance as only they can deal with billing issues. If you live in North America then dial 1-800-469-9269

Hello Laur_04, I'm sorry for what's going on, however if you contacted support they gave you the correct information, your account management is done through the link below, and the addition or removal of the card can only be done by those who have access to the account and card number.
