    Creator update causing game studdering


    I recently received the creator update on my game machine. Since then games are shuddering horribly and FPS is very inconsistent.

    Nvidia GTX1070

    Intel i7 4790

    Looks like I'm not the only one having this issue:

    I do not have DVR turned on or an Xbox present. Is there a fix for this or should I reverse the update (which i'm hoping is possible).

    windows 10 fall creators update screwed up my games

    Ever since the forced update of fall creator update on my computer none of the Microsoft games have been working. I can sign in to them but either the games won't load or they freeze up with a black screen when the advertising is trying to play. Please help,
    it happened before when I updated to the fall creator update and I ended up getting rid of that update and going back to the previous update and they worked fine again. Now they forced the fall creator update on my computer.

    Fallout Shelter is now crashing 100% of the time.

    Xbox Anywhere game Fallout Shelter will not update in the store, and will not reinstall properly. Since the Windows 10 Creator update this game now crashes constantly.

    Thanks for the reply. I've been playing the latest Deus Ex on Windows 10, on which this caused a huge problem. I tried a couple of other titles and the same issue was present. Sorry, not sure why Windows feedback took me here to the xbox forums.

    I've noticed some improvements as well since the last updates... Netflix didn't seem to studder.

    Not sure about Vudu though... i haven't seen an update for that app in some time.

    What do you mean by latest Microsoft update? For the game? Windows Updates? Creator's Update? If you're not currently running the Windows 10 Fall 2018 Creator's update, I would definitely recommend installing that.

    The problems are caused by this update: 10.0.16299.3036 (rs3_xbox_rel_1710.171020-1745)

    On fall creators update 16299.3031.RS3_RELEASE_XBOX_DEV_1710.171012-1520 there was no such problem.

    MS has to fix this soon!

    But there are no publications in any other Forum i found. The console is useless without HDR for UHD Blurays...
