    Hi,

    My daughter wants to add friends on Minecraft PE on her iPad. We have created a Microsoft account for her with an outlook.com address & she has a gamer tag, but it turns out the xbox.com account hasn't been fully created along with it. When I login to xbox.com
    with my username, my 2 sons show up but not her. After doing some reading it seems I could try to sign in to xbox.com with *her* credentials & it would ask for parental permission, which would then allow her to finalise her xbox.com account. When I tried this
    it did indeed ask for parental permission so I dutifully enter my username, the next screen prompts for my password which I again dutifully enter, and then I get a screen that says "Sorry, the page you're looking for can't be found. Perhaps the URL was misspelled..."

    How do I get past this? I don't know what else to do to fix this problem. If you've misspelled your own URL, how do I know where to go? We don't own a console so I'm trying to do all this through a browser, and no I won't be buying a console just to fix
    this issue. Can someone please help me connect my daughter's account?

    Thank you for coming to the Xbox forums. Unfortunately, there is no setting to specifically stop people from deleting accounts on the Xbox one. Is the account that you created for your son a child account, or an adult account with child restrictions?
    He has a child account, which has restrictions. However, he is able to bypass all restrictions by deleting every account and creating a new account (not the child account I created).

    Parent and child accounts on Xbox are designed to help parents manage their children’s gaming activities. A parent account is the primary account that can create and manage child accounts. Child accounts are created for children under the age of 18 and are linked to the parent account. The parent account can set up parental controls, such as screen time limits, content restrictions, and spending limits, for each child account.

    You cannot change your account to be a child account. You will have to create a new account for your child.

    To create a child account, the parent account must first create a family group. The family group can have up to six members, including the parent account. Once the family group is created, the parent account can add a child account to the group. The child account will be linked to the parent account and will have access to the parent account’s Xbox Live Gold subscription and other benefits.
