Creating X-Box gamertag problem

When I try to create a new X-Box account it asks me to create a gamertag. I fill in the form but when I press the create account button it says I have to try again later and gives error message 500. I have tried to create a gamertag several times the past year but it has never worked. Does somebody know a solution?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

Kindly try a different Gamertag or try using a different device in changing your Gamertag.

It's odd that it's happening on multiple devices as well as other accounts. Have you tried a different network connection?

Hi, thanks for your quick reply and advice. I have tried to create an account on a different device with a different Gamertag. Unfortunately the same error message is given. Do you have any further advice?

Or did you link your x box gamertag to your Rockstar Social Club account? Or open up your sharing in x box privacy settings?

I have an x-box live account but even though it's showing my GamerTag, it still says I'm not connected to x-box live. I've checked and all of the other services are running fine except for x-box live. This has been happening since last week. It's probably
been about four days without no connection and I know that there's no problem with my internet connection. How can I check to see when I last renewed my x-box Gold subscription?
