Creating Microsoft account

Good afternoon

I want to purchase Xbox live on my xbox 360. When I want to purchase it says the following: "cant connect to Xbox live. You'll need to try again later. To sign up later go to settings, account, and choose a membership upgrade option". The problem is when
I try to do it later again it just says the same thing. and when I go to settings the option for "account" cant be chosen. I have a stable internet connection.

Any help will be appreciated.

It be some bad feedback on xbox's part. I would try doing again oin a hour or so. If not call xbox support to more help.

that is a problem microsoft started i had problems like that with my old account i just called them up about it and they were able to fix it. took six months though :/

Good question. Yes, of course. Just make sure that the gmail account is not yet attached to a gamertag and that should work. When you create a Microsoft account, you can use any email address as the user name, including addresses from Outlook.com, Yahoo! or Gmail.

Please go here and enter in the Yahoo address that your trying to use and see if it sends you password reset instructions. More than likely you've logged in with that
account previously and are entering in an incorrect password and the e-mail is already associated with a randomly generated gamertag.

Same. This is the DUMBEST thing ever. I've tried 100 times. 20 levels and 'at least 1 of my answers is wrong'. What a complete waste of my time. Whoever designed this is should be fired. Need an account to set up my new Xbox. Can't get past step 1. Holy Cow, this is driving me nuts!!
