    Created my xbox one details while offline!


    OK so... i bought an xbox one back in like Sept. i plugged it in at my house without wifi until it said it needed to update then i used a phone to produce a hotspot so it could update... now i know my gamertag... all my games... all my info on the account
    but i believe i created a false email for the account and its never been verified... if not then i cant remember the password to the fake email i created and i no longer have that phone number.

    i tried logging in with the fake email trying to recover the password and it looked like the last 2 phone number numbers were my old phones. so with that all being said can anyone help me im still signed in on my buddys xbox is there a way to get some info
    off it from him before he sells his xbox one erasing all the data off it?!?

    Can my offline Avatar become my Xbox live avatar? I created an offline one by a mistake i thought i was creating one one Xbox live. I got it pretty good to discover afterwards the mistake, so I created one on Xbox live but really like the first one I saved
    offline. Is there anyway I can switch them?

    Hey there Shattered Pawn,

    If you created a fake email address and password, it's going to be difficult to regain access to the account. Your best bet is to try the steps to change the email address associated with the Microsoft Account, but you'll need to know the password or have
    access to the email address on file to do this. You may be able to verify the account through other means through the phone team though. So our suggestion would be to contact the chat/phone teams and see if they can help you change the email address on the
    account.

    You can contact Official Xbox Support through either the live chat option (if available) or phone team
