Crazy Achievement Numbers!

Yea, there shouldn't really be achievements for watching stuff either... I wonder how many there are and if they're even above 0 or like 5(G)

 

I was playing street fighter iv the other day and I noticed an achievement for watching 30 replays. Now that's an achievement I probably won't get. I watched a few replays to see some top players from around the world... but 30?! It would probably take like
an hour and a half... and who wants to spend time watching 30 replays anyways? lol

 

0GS achievements are really pointless. I mean all gamerscore is pointless but especially 0GS.

 

Yep, I don't get it one bit. Besides, an achievement is meant to be for....well.....achieving something. They need to just get rid of pointless 0gs achievements.

 

"Not Bulletproof".

A 0g achievement for dying on the Easy difficultly setting of 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand.

They prove their value with that alone surely.

I do wonder at times why achievements have taken on such importance with people. I have a friend who wont play a game if it wont add to his total gamerscore.

 

Had the usual,666, 12345 etc. but i did manage to get my gamerscore the same as my date of birth a while back.

 

That's pretty cool!! I'm far past that now but that would of been nice to see!

0G achievements in entertainment apps are silly, but then I can understand why they wouldn't want to add them to the Gamerscore count. Maybe a separate entertainment score count or something would suffice. 0G Gamerscore for an achievement in a game is pointless
though. Titanfall for example, theres an achievement for 10th regen or something like that and it awards you nothing. The day one achievement should of been a straight up 1000G lol.

 

I actually don't like the idea of putting numbers to achievements. If I had my way, gamerscore would simply be the number of achievements you've earned and not have any number associated with them. However, it is obvious that many achievements aren't created
equally, so I was thinking they should've done something similar to the way Sony has with their trophies - have bronze, silver, gold, and maybe platinum tiers. Or they could use simpler numbers like a 1-5 scale with 1 being pretty much an automatic achievement
and 5 being incredibly difficult or nearly impossible (in other words, an achievement could be worth 1-5 points based on the difficulty of achieving it).
