crashing upon starting the Minecraft Movie Event

Next is to verify Minecraft game settings. Ensure that your Minecraft version is up-to-date. Check if any resource packs or mods are interfering with the game. If you have mods, ensure they are compatible with your Minecraft version.

If you have any resource packs or data packs installed, please remove them to see if they are causing the crash

Then clear Minecraft app's cache and data.

Thank you for your reply, normal minecraft loads perfectly but even with all the steps forge and curesforge both seem to crash it with the same event viewer log. The game either crashes as soon as chunks start to load or when I start to move around.

Some mods do not mix well with others and can crash the game upon start up. It sucks but process of elimination will tell you which mod is crashing the game.

I tried out hotspot and loaded up a game, and it crashed upon starting up and tried a second time, and it only lasted about a minute and a half before crashing.

If you go to Event Viewer (WIndows icon bottom left of screen, start typing "event viewer" click on the result), click on the little arrow next to Windows Logs...under SYstem, go to the time and date the last crash happened and see if there are any events just prior to the crash....it will, hopefully, indicate which process has caused the issue. Also check under the Application one as well
