Crashing games and console

Hello!

Ive owned my xbox for about half a year now, its brand new, and barley touched. However a few months ago when i was playing destiny i noticed that it was starting to freeze and crash either to the home screen or the entire console in general. I lost interest
in xbox for a good 3 months or so and just bought battlefront today, However it is crashing still. it crashed more often to the home screen than the entire console itself, and gives no error code. seems to happen only in games ( does not happen when using
youtube or anything else).

My console is freezes randomly when this game is running, and randomly crashing after completing a match.

 

Why dos my console Freeze/ Crash for ??

for the past week my console has kept freezing / crashing / over heating , no matter where i put it , its now next to open window , that keeps it cool BUT it still crashing when i'm playing games , the main game is nfs mw 2012 , 1st i thought it was cd
but no i downloaded the game and it still crashing , console is bout 5years old , (not used it for over a year) should'nt be that . So what the hell is this stupid problem ???

 

In the 3 months you lost interest was the console ever switch on.

Is it up to date with the updates.

Start up your console once fully loaded press and hold console button for 8 seconds wait for 30 seconds and power up see if that helps.

Are your games Disc or Digital do you use an external HDD for your games let us know if the reboot doesn't help good luck.
