Crash to dashboard

I purchased an xbox one s three days ago brand new. I installed skyrim and had no issues playing it. The disk is not damaged and is also new. The game will start for a few seconds on the title screen then return to the dashboard. Ive tried a hard reset,
uninstall and re install, downloaded blu ray player, removed saved data and profile aswell. All i can find help wise on the internet is a hard reset which does nothing.

I only have like 30% used.

I did uninstall and then reinstall. That took overnight to download stuff basically, even on my 50mb connection.

This morning, it loads, installed an update, verified, again, the install, then said servers are down, what a mess

Try doing a hard reset by holding the power button on the front of the console until it turns off then unplug it from the outlet for 30 seconds then plug back in and power back on. Hopefully this should help resolve the issue.

just to be sure can you try these steps to remove the local saved 360 profile too:

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select System > Settings > System
   > Storage, and then select Clear local Xbox 360 storage.
   
   This won’t affect cloud-saved games or Xbox One games and profiles

If that fails them please try:

1. Uninstall game

2. Power cycle the console by holding the power button for at least 10 seconds and then wait at least 60 seconds before powering the console on again

3. Download something else, for example a demo of any game

4. Install the game again and see what happens if you launch it (when game is fully installed)

Tried these steps and same result with a different game. Ive also done a factory reset and no change.

That sounds super frustrating.
