Crackleing sound

My Xbox One keeps making annoying random crackling sounds when playing games. It only happens on my xbox one so far as I can tell. It has happened to varying degrees with just about every single game I play. It doesn't seem to happen when doing other things
on my TV. I have no idea what it is and It is annoying enough that I won't play anything as long as it keeps occurring, any help would be appreciated.

Xbox One Headset Issues/Question

I use X12's (with the adapter obviously) and they sound amazing with an optical cable.

There's no crackle sound at all. There's only a small crackle sound when you're charging your controller and using the headset at the same time.

How is the chat quality in a game like Titanfall? My Astro's sound amazing (hooked into the back of X1 with optical cable) but the chat is pretty bad outside of Skype.

 

So the sound only happens while you're playing games? Is it coming from your ODD (Optical Disc Drive) or does it happen with digitally downloaded games as well? Or is the crackling noise coming through your speakers as if it's coming from the game audio?

The sound only happens when playing games and comes from the game audio. I know my speakers are fine because I tested it on another TV and it makes the same noises.

I have the exact same problem.

I had a day one edition that has had the problem for as long as I can remember, but it was only when playing forza (only game I have) and so I assumed it was a glitch in the game. The only way to fix the issue was to fully power off the console and remove
the power lead for 10 - 15 seconds and then power it all up again and it would be fine.

However a few days ago I was watching tv and it suddenly sounded like everyone was using helium, and again the only way to fix it was to pull the power lead out to fully power off and reboot the xbox one.

Yesterday I took the xb one back to the shop and had it exchanged for a new one (sadly not a day one edition, but i'd rather a console that worked properly than a controller with a naff logo on it). It took some doing, as the idiots tried to tell me that
Microsoft say in the instruction manual that you should not have the console tuned on for more than 5 hours a day, so when I asked them to show me this info, they couldn't find it (surprise surprise) and agreed to replace.

Anyway this brand new console, is giving the exact same crackling / popping and distortion sounds after around 4 hours of playing Forza.

The old xb one was on the beta sw, the new one is not, so it's not a beta sw issue, it also can't be an hdmi cable issue, and I tried 3 different hdmi ports on my Panasonic tv, so I don't think it is a tv issue either.

It's driving me nuts and really REALLY spoiling my experience.
