Crackdown 3 - Network error in all coop modes

Hey all,

My brother and I are trying to play Crackdown 3 coop campaign.

Every time we go into either Coop campaign or Coop Keys to the city, after roughly 17 seconds we get the message:

"NETWORK ERROR

There was a problem communicating with the Crackdown 3 servers. Please try again later"

We are playing on PC, through the Windows 10 XBOX app.

I found some people on Reddit that have the same experience, and they posted about a day ago, but cant find any information about server or this error anywhere else, not even the official communication channels for the game.

How can we fix this so we can play together (assuming it isn't an unnoticed and unresolved problem server side)?

Thank you for your advice.

So the game now works for coop. Well, at least it works for my brother and I. We just played for 2 hours and it seems to work again for all other people.

Another problem came up instantly unfortunately. The game stutters/lags and rubberbands, and it does so for both of us. The stuttering varies and seems to be related to the connection (the ingame connection meter) that when the stuttering and rubberbanding
is at its worst is either “Slow” or “Bad”. Most of the time its just about playable but with a lot of stuttering and the connection around medium. Single player runs perfectly smooth for both of us, likewise does other high demand games, like Vermintide 2
in coop.

I wrote up the same update for their discord, the actual discord channel for the game by the developers, Digital Sumo. You can find it in #tech-support on the channel I linked earlier.

What would really be a help, Diego, would be to maybe suggest that they start answering on their communication platforms like their discord or their twitter. That they at least acknowledge the wide spread problems people are reporting, and that their
Community Manager maybe starts managing the community in other aspect than just warning people that they shouldn't swear, while disregarding all the other messages that ask for technical help.

It's probably not in your job description or power, but I might as well try a hail Mary since nothing else seems to get any reaction from Digital Sumo.

I was able to play co-op last night with a friend on Xbox. This may have been resolved. Anyone else?

There was no "repair" option for Crackdown 3, as you stated might be the case.

It took most of the night but I have reinstalled /"Reset" the game. The error persists.

Sure, if I was playing on an Xbox.

I know my setup, and I can literally host any other game I have without this problem.

This is happening for me and my friend since yesterday also. We are both playing on Xbox One (Game Pass). Reboot something!
