Crack disc. How to still play tbe game?

If the game disc is damaged then you will either need to purchase a new game disc or purchase the game through the store on the console and then a disk will not be required when playing the game.

Once the disk cracks it should no longer read in the xbox, the install failed due to the crack, but once in a great while theres a chance that the content downloaded for that game also affects the playability of the game itself.

In the past if a game is broken/scratched and the Xbox still is able to read that it's "disc name here" I borrow or rent the same game, install it and since the Xbox still is able to recognize the original it plays just fine off the hard drive.



If the Xbox recognizes the "broken" disc:

Step 1: Rent or Borrow the
same game from a friend.

Step 2: Install the rented/borrowed game.

Step 3: Return game from step 2.

Step 4: Put broken but recognized game back in tray.

Step 5: Enjoy the now fixed game!

I don't know how burning a backup disc is covered by the ToS, but know from personal experience that if you install from a good disc you can play with a scratched or cracked disc in the tray. The console is only checking to verify that the proper game disc
is there, not the quality of the disc.

I dont have any other 360 games but i did use the batman origins game on the series x. so tbe disc is real and not broken.
