Cox Contour (Record 6) Receiver Issues

Last night the temporary fix did not work. I kept getting the message "xbox can not detect you tv signal ". I had to end up just disconnecting and going strictly through my cable box. When I tried to turn off the xbox the white "on off" light continued
to flash ..this is a new one....

 

I ended up going back to my old cable box. This xbox issue annoyed me too much and Cox mislead me on the cost of the Contour box/service. Wasn't worth the price to me.

 

Last night the temporary fix did not work. I kept getting the "X Box can not detect your TV signal"...nothing worked and I ended up having to go directly through my cable box, which did work, so obviously there is a TV signal. Also when shutting down the
xbox the white light continued to flash and did not turn off...not sure what that is all about. At any rate this is becoming a real hassle considering I have the Xbox One connected to my primary TV, especially when it all worked fine from January up to a couple
of weeks ago just fine.

 

Hey guys! Need a bit more information. Just to verify, I want to make sure everyone having the
HDCP issue specifically is on the July update.

Head over to
find your console operating system for me and tell me the entire line you see there. I'm gathering that little bit of information now as well.

Hey there, Craig! No update yet, but know that I will post up one once I have more information. I have been keeping an eye on this thread to make sure you guys do know what is going on, I just haven't had anything new for you.

I don't have issues like that! I do get an annoying "Full Details" pop up box that doesn't leave when i switch channels. It doesn't disappear until I grab the set top box and press the red "c" button. Please help!

 

I had the "full details popup" problem as well that one can be fixed by changing the cable box code....I changed the one xbox assigned, which was "c1877" to "c0877" and that problem was fixed.

I am still getting the "lost signal" on a daily basis..... the workaround of quitting the program is working but I do hope this is resolved soon..
