Discus and support Cox 6 tuner in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Cox just released an update to their 6 tuner cable box.     Cox 6 tuner


    Cox just released an update to their 6 tuner cable box. Since then I'm unable to use the TV app. Any time I try to watch TV my Xbox One reboots. All components work on their own, but together there seems to be an issue. Box model is Cisco 9865HDC.

    OneGuide and Cox Tuner/DVR issue with Information Box

    Whenever I user the OneGuide to change my channel the channel successfully changes, but there is an information box that comes up about the show/channel. This is from the Cox Tuner/DVR (it's the same thing that comes up if you press the "Info" button on
    the Tuner/DVR remote twice). To remove it I need to get my Cox Remote and press exit. This is kind of embarrassing when I' trying to show off XBOX One's voice command features:/ It also makes the OneGuide (which I think is AWESOME)somewhat unusable:/

    I've already called Cox about this and no one there seems to know what to do. Anything you can do to help would be GREATLY appreciated!

    Is There A Tuning Guide Out Yet

    Your guys are nuts, the tuning is nothing the same, quit using an app to tune for you. I've been a tuner for at least 6 years and never had this much trouble dialing in a tune. It's awesome.

    I am having this same problem with the details window with the Cisco 9856 HDC (record 6) from Cox... are the codes above applicable to this cable box as well ?

    I appreciate your responses. The receiver is made by Cisco and I believe it's the only one Cox has to this point. The have branded it the "record 6." I'm going to give it a go. Thanks!
